Cardashift Appoints Jacques Berger as Ambassador
Cardashift’s team is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jacques Berger as Ambassador of Cardashift.
Jacques has been the managing director of Action Tank Social&Business since its launching in 2011. This incubator, co-created by Martin Hirsch and Emmanuel Faber, brings large corporations, ONGs, public actors and academics together to design, experiment and scale-up new inclusive business models aiming at fighting poverty in developed countries.
Action Tank leverages the core competencies of its corporate partners (Bouygues Construction, Danone, Renault, Orange) to reduce the cost of key products and services (housing, food, transports, telecommunication) for households in need. Some of the programs incubated at Action Tank now reach tens of thousands of customers with an established social impact. It also creates new hybrid value chains articulating large corporations, ONGs and public services.
Jacques has a strong background in strategy consulting (BCG) and entrepreneurship.
“I am delighted to join Cardashift because of its disrupting potential and the brightness of the human capital involved. Having developed alignment of core business competencies and solid social impact at Action Tank, I feel privileged to have the opportunity to reconcile deep-tech approach and social/environmental impact.”
The Cardashift team is looking forward to working with Jacques. His extensive knowledge about social impact will be invaluable for us. It’s also worth mentioning his experience in detecting projects and his network in the ecosystem. These elements will undoubtedly be of great help to us to gather the right people and develop our community.
